R7 Developer Firmware?
Saw this file on Cellular Support (through forums) called R7A010 Developer. Anyone tried it yet? What are the improvements from R4c/R6C?

http://merwin.cellular-support.com/flashes/ (You aren't supposed to leech.)
It's T610 R7A010 Developer Firmware. It doesn't send a text message to SE on boot, and it isn't RSA protected. The most obvious addition is the ability to send games and the debug menu. I didn't run Jbenchmark when I had it on so I don't know about Java, but it seemed about right. I just want to know if anyone saw improvement in performance with it. It doesn't seem to work with a memory-empty No default files GDFS though, but the original is fine. EDIT: Ran Jbenchmark 1.0 Result: 576 compared with about 630 with R6c. (free mem:2366kb) I'm using a T630 GDFS (no default files), though, so that could be the reason. Last edited by shalashaska; 08-25-2004 at 03:29 AM. |

New update:
Jbenchmark 1.0 I ran again twice and got: 627. (931KB free memory) Text: 145 (151) 2D Shapes: 130 (129) 3D Shapes: 63 (64) Fill Rate: 24 (25) Animation : 265 (25 ![]() Very strange considering I have less memory now than before. |

I used DIV USB 4.0 with userport.sys. Try that instead of 8.4

ok did it and got it to work!! pretty dope.. Has a file browser. U have to use the GDFS file specifically for this and SETool.
it was ok, changed back to R1b0027... that has the best reception. |
