{Talking} Xperia. what I liked and what I didn't

I don't know how to write a review

but Iíll try to write something ..

What I liked :

1- The Xpanel is really useful you can customize 2 panels of them and add any thing you want like applications shortcuts and the other panels are for multimedia, windows live ( includes hotmail and messenger in addition to the search bar) and the web panel which includes ( mobile TV, Google maps, search bar and E-Mail).

2- Google maps>> you can run the GPS and locate everything, but the problem is you can't connect without GPRS.. (am not sure if there are settings to solve this problem)

3- Fast, and doesn't lag

4- Really perfect dimensions, not like the huge nokia communicators.

5- The keyboard is easy to use.

6- Good wireless with good range.

What I did not like :

1- Windows is complicating even the easy things.

2- I tried to send all contacts by Bluetooth from another sony ericsson, failed to receive them.

3- When I copied the contacts from the sim card, I got "/1" after every contact. (Donít know why)

4- if you donít have any contact in the phone and all of them in the sim card, you'll have to get them from the "Sim manager" , so far it's good, but when you copy them to the phone you will see every contact doubled, one from the sim card and the other from the phone. Tried to hide the contacts from the sim card but I couldn't.

But the phone still the best phone

I hope that would let you know some thing new about the phone

If you are concerned about something please ask

See ya

Okay, I have a question for you. Does the phone always been sluggish? I've read in some website that said this phone is pretty sluggish. So, yeah. I would like to buy XPERIA but I'm just worried that it will be as sluggish as my phone lol

I don't think that it's sluggish. When it wasn't officially released it was slow, but it was in development. So now it's fast as far as I know (and I know...).

Though Windows Mobile does have the tendency of slowing down with use (about a few months), which the only cure is a format.

WM was always making same problem with data processing. So it usually slows down device. Xperia is not exception, it is slowed down, but you will barely notice. I got used to it after few hours. Screen rotate takes about second to rotate so it's not something to worry about. Menu (control panel, start, file explorer...) is really fast, everything is very smooth, no problem at all. If you have list of 1000 files that are up to 3 MB, like mp3, xperia lists it in a second. Camera takes about 5 seconds to start so as panel loading. Overal, great phone, great perfomance, best you can buy it!

Like Windows for PC, the Windows Mobile 6.1 also is slowing down the device with time, but you'll format it - no problem

And YES, I think it's the best phone
