k800i/k810i Camera drivers modding :)

WARNING IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIDENT IN DOING THIS GUIDE OR BEING ABLE TO REVERSE IT THEN DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS GUIDE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

all you really need is PHONE XS++ heres how .......

and the wanted camera driver

If you want to upload a new CUSTOM "Camera driver"

In this case we are going to use Number1's (from Se-nse forum) camera driver version 2.89

get it here

\ifs\settings\camera

To upload the file, we just start turn the phone off remove the memory card and take out the battery for a few seconds ... then replace the battery and connect your USB CABLE first to the phone whilst holding the "C" key down then connect it to your USB PORT (still holding the "C" key!)

then start PhoneXS, select "USB" as communication device, the highest speed ("921600") and the correct phone model.
The correct phone model for DB2010 CID49 phones is: "K750/D750/W800 (CID49)"
The correct phone model for DB2020 CID49 phones is: "K800 (DB2020"

now click CONNECT

We now select "FSX" at the bottom to get to the upload menu & finally click "START FSX"

navigate through the directorys and find your way to the \ifs\settings\camera folder

you should see 2 camera drivers in ENUMERATED FILES window labelled

camdriver0.dat <<<< this the one to be replaced

camdriver1.dat (DO NOT REMOVE OR CHANGE THIS ONE this is the 3G video calling camera!!!)

Now all you need to do now all you need to do is DRAG THE NEW camera0.dat FILE from the NEW camera driver folder into the ENUMERATED FILES FOLDER and overwrite the existing camera driver see image below ..

when its completed copying click SHUTDOWN (remember this is important)

then start up your phone with your NEW MODDED CAMERA DRIVER

modded 35fps VIDEO RECORDING DRIVER get it here

NOTE THIS 35fps VIDEO RECORDING driver is EXPERIMENTAL and not deemed FULLY STABLE so be warned you may get erratic results

so just in case ......

get the ORIGINAL k800i camera driver here

subnote:- YES... THIS GUIDE MAY WORK FOR OTHER SE MOBILES but you WILL NEED the SPECIFIC DRIVER for that particular model of phone!

sorry could not find the change log for it but this how it started out at version 2.8

there are many other drivers out there by other users on se-nse forum but so far I have only tested this one and it works quite well

not currently possible with XS++ altho we can no doubt get you the default driver.. if you need it to restore later
