Patching the phone tutorial

Ok A lot of people ask questions about patching the phone so here comes the tut for it.

1st of all download Farmanager from here or here

Download SEFP here (Credits to darkmen )

Sites to find patches to SE phones

Start Sefp You do it by pressing Alt+F1


Choose the phone u wan't
Press enter the matrix


Choose FLASH


Choose the patch u wan't. Drag the file to the phone part.



It shall look like this, Press FLASH



Press YES if wan't to continue AND NO if U DON'T



Press Close

And it's done, unplug the phone, take out the battery for some seconds
insert the battery put the phone on.


If U manage to damage UR phone look here

Always keep your vkp files on the computer if u need to unpatch it.
It's the same process but now press Remove Patch instead of the checked box



I don't take ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF UR PHONE BECOMES DEAD!!!

For example I took the wrong patch(forgot that I had a w800 took a k750 patch )
So i had to flash my phone totally(Didn't work to unpatch it )

Im a patch freak and for good reason :P

Also with that version the EROM warning comes up every time even for non dangerous patches. Upgrade to .45 to only get that message on dangerous patches.

I know that u can have a better version, but i choose to do it correct for people that don't know a lot about EROM SEFP, FARmanager etc

Im not saying that you didnt but if the patches arent dangerous and you get used to pressing yes all the time ; then what if a patch comes out that actually does write to the dangerous areas and you just press yes thinking it isnt dangerous and it messes up the phone. Just my 2 cents anyway.

actually, all the patches are dangerous, what if u pick a wrong patch and phone becomes dead, just like I did

true. I tried a k750 patch on the w800 firmware when I was getting into patching and my phone messed up (the standby screen would not display) ao I just reflashed the main and I still kept my files and everything was fine. but if the patch is applied to the EROM or GDFS areas the only way to recover your phone is with a service cable. although you can restore a backup of the gdfs with your service cable.

Ok a new tut here, do like this to update UR Camera driver

This time u shall choose FS and not FLASH
After that u come to this screen: Choose ifs


Choose settings after that


If u shall update camera drivers go to camera, if display choose display
I shall describe camera now


Copy this cameradriver0.dat to wherever u want to in UR computer. After that delete it from UR Phone.



The displaydriver worx exatly the same do the same procedure as u did with the camera driver, but ofcource in the display folder.

To go backwards in farmanager press here:


Finally U arrive here
Press YES to finish

Nope sorry. But its easy to understand. Click the firmware version of your phone , look at a patch you want e.g;
;W800 SW-R1BC002
;Убрать подтверждение при принятии файла через bluetooth/etc
;remove "accept file? (yes/no)" prompt when receiving files over bluetooth/etc.

I got this problem all the time when I go into far mananger............everything works fine but when I first try to go into the FLASH or FS folder...It says error script fs_mode execution error!

How old is ur k750?
it could be so that ur phone is one of the newer ones that have CID49 system

Nobody does patches for that version. you will have to upgrade to R1BC002

always popup warning about "SEARCH DATA MISMATCH " and blaa blaaa ...
then have to choose " continue " or " cancel " i never dare to choose continue

You are using the wrong patches. Don't go further unless u don't want to kill ur phone

Thanks cavveman for ur suggestion and well i have W800i R1BC002 and i downloaded patch from http://mobilefree.ru/modules/patches
i think i DL correct patch for myphone
heard have many versions of VKP file right ? like hmmm EU APAC and ....
so how do we know
