hey, using a j2me tool kit is a good method, but for those who cant find or dont know how to use j2me, or lazy to convert jar to jad, here a software call "ngagecool" java emulator, try searching using google, yahoo, or visit http://www.geocities.com/patrickyeow/ilovek700i.html to find it. however, this java emulator is designed for nokia, so there are certain game that cannot play by ngagecool but run properly in k700i but it always better than try every game with your phone, right?

I already have Java on my PC. I downloaded the J2ME Tool from the Java site, and downloaded the JADGEN tool which converts .jar files to .jad.

So I converted Street Fighter 2.jar file into .jad, and double-clicked on it which brought up the image of the phone (you know +5550000) with 'Street Fighter 2' highlighted on the phone's screen. So I tried clicking on the Launch button, and it doesn't do anything.

I also tried this on the ngagecool emulator and it does the same thing, just won't run it when I click the Launch button.

Can anyone help?

Any help will be most appreciated, thanks for your time.

For everybody! If you wanna play J2ME games on your PC, then download MPowerPlayer(before downloading make sure you have at least JAVA 5 on your PC), which is a JAVA program, so needs JAVA. Download it free from here: http://www.mpowerplayer.com/

try right click the .jar file go the properties and rename .jar to .jad,i guess it might work, save a copy first of the original if you failed to, then, just rename it again to .jar from the property...

i think it might work, try it!!!!

Hi everyone,

I have K530i and im just not able to install jar files on it.
i have downloaded those jar file on PC, n tried to open them with winRAR.
All that happens is, it unzips them, but there im just not able to find any file which is executable among them.
Please do help me out,
Give me step by step instructions on how exactly to open the jar files on K530i.
And why cant i directly use the jar files from the phone itself instead of unzipping them.

Thanx loads.
