Hello,
Can you see the logo on top of this page & the "Ads by Google"? This probelm usually occurs on posts that use BMP images.

I PM KFou about this.

Happens on mine as well. The privacy control in Norton does not like the pics. I told KFou I think it is related to the fact that all forum pics seem to have a re-direct script to the main page.

If you paste this into your boowser you will see it goes back to the main page. I dont think norton like this.

I can see no pics what so ever related to the forum. Not even the logo. Google ads are fine though.

Have you tried entering MyT610.net into the "safe" list, It's somewhere in the options.

Its not the actual firewall blocking the pics its the privacy setting. For some reason it thinks the pics on myt610 are risking privacy in some way.

Right, From the information that it's the privacy settings, this leads me to concluide that Internet Explorer thats stopping the images etc. So here goes:

1. Open the page where the images AREN'T being shown.

2. Open Priacy Alert Window (see IMG1)

(IMG1)

This should bring up the Privacy Alert Window

3. The list should show lask.net entries that have been blocked, select one and click summary
(IMG2)

4. Another window should appear asking what to do with the site "lasyk.net" and future encounters with. Click "Always Allow this site to use cookies" and click OK

(IMG3)

5. Close all the windows and re-start Internet Explorer. This shoud cure the problem. I think.

In Norton professional 2004
click on Status and Settings
and turn off privacy control

This works for me. Although I've no idea what it was protecting...

Hope that this helps

The privacy control blocks and protects anything that can be clasified as a privacy violation when browsing the web. Stops things/people stealing private information using scripts and controls.

So by turning it off I am being vulnerable right, on other sites and stuff. Why dont the forum owners just change things their end so we wont have to.

Before I make any firewall desisions I want to know just what it is that is causing this. I am a member of a few different forums and non of them do this to my firewall. Until I know what it is im not touching a thing. Hopefully the webmaster can offer an explanation of why norton does not like this.
