Hmm my W850 also have the same problem. I can say prolly the same problem which happen when you put yer phone in yer pocket, whenever i press a lil hard at the back of the phone, it'll prompt that msg.
And sometimes i cant hear the phone ringing. So i'll just take out the bat and then switch on again. Then everythings ok. So i dont put my w850 into the pocket anymore.

Try taking out then re-inserting the SIM card?
If you still get problems, try another SIM card.

I've had a few problems with my W880i,

It sometimes turns itself off when i press the Walkman button and It stops ready the memory card at least once a day.

It's still a good phone though and apart from my W810i which was brilliant it's the best i've had.

@oliver sam - how rude..! maybe you should rtfm? you're wasting time here go and check the k700 forums

@frandolph - this used to happen with my old motorola its simply the connector pins between the sim card and the sim card holder arent tight enough so the slightest movement of the sim card while in a pocket or during use renders the phone to hang, or perhaps give the errors you said, its common enough and happens with wear and tear.

ok then here is your so friggin' important answer, the directory setup on your phone is set by your phone maker the pc software (that is if you are using any) already knows where to send the media files, so really there's no way to change where it is sending the files also have you made sure that the media files you're using are compatible with your handset? this could be another reason why it is coming up in "other"

maybe a few things you've overlooked.
