thats extremely DANGEROUS!!!! was he in the right frame of mind when he did that?

maybe he can replicate the tesla coils in C&C red alert PC game

He being me. It is safe and I take many precautions. The electric fields remain outside the cage.
Interestingly the phone still worked through this although it was very hard to hear. I took my usual earmuffs off for this shot.

ever done a Electro magnetic forceshield? you can patent that technology and earn billions from defense contrators

Why did I do that?
Because no-one has done it before that I am aware of.
It combines a common action in bizarre surroundings that normal people will not encounter. Why not. The phone should be safe.

And the microwave? I adapt microwave ovens as they are a convenient container for high voltge stuff. In this case it contains a neon sign transformer and protection circuitry to drive the Tesla coil.

i love tesla coils ever since i first saw them in C&C red alert.

I don't have any electrical qualifications and my job is unrelated.
Van der Graaff generators are high voltage DC generators and are not Tesla coils. But still fun.
