This is a program with excelent features and easy to use. It supports WAV, AIFF, MP3, and OGG files wich can be exported as mp3.

I've installed the Audacity program to cut my mp3. but I dun seem to know how to go about "cutting" the song. Can someone give me some guidance?

wavepad is my favourite for making ringtones, its free and really easy to use. get it here:

simply open your mp3, use the arrows to scroll to a point in the song (e.g. 30 secs into the song) and then choose "trim end" and it will delete everything after that point. save the file as a new file and theres a ringtone; it only takes seconds.

you can also use it to take out bits at the beginning of a song so your ringtone can start at the chorus or wherever you want.

have a look if you arent happy with the other software posted. hth

I don't know how to save it as ringtone. There's only .wav .mp3 .vox .raw .gsm .aif .au. Which one is ringtone??Please help me. : dnt know
