Hi,
I had a problem with my mobile. The "black" keys (2 Function keys, Back, C) and joystick were not working. Reseting the phone didn't work (num keys were working but i couldn't press neither Ok nor C!!). I also tried to remove the battery and sim card but nothing. After a few attempts (last one i left the phone turned off without battery and sim card for about 10 mins) the phone worked again.
This was the second time it happened.
Any idea? Someone else had the same problem?

i had the same problem friend about 15days ago.. i had to wait till the next morning for the phone to work... i dont know what the problem was..
P.S. i m also from greece...

Go back to SE and ask for new phone? Sounds like a defective one to me....

The phone is working after a few minutes. Next time i'll have the problem i'll get the phone to SE service. If someone else has the same problem just let us know. Maybe it's the firmware. i have

its a bugg in "all" t610! go back were you bought it and u wil get a new!!!!

I went to SE and they made a sw upgrade. My version had the problem. Hope it will work!

So it was the buggy version R3B? R3C is the newer one that fixes all the current bugs possible.

Hmm, i'm using firmware R1L and did not encounter any other problem yet with the phone except the battery can only last for 1 day with normal usage (btw, i' trying to charge it for 16hrs with the phone switch off now as advised by SE, please see my other post in troubleshooting).
I bought the phone on 5th October 2003 and it came with R1L.

1 day only?? Wow...i have 30 mins worth of talkin each day at least, and i have bluetooth on 24/7, and it lasts me 2 days.

I talk about 40 mins every day and my battery lasts 2.5 - 3 days. When the battery meter is empty the phone works more than 5 hours (without calls. I cheched it at night)

I occasionally have problems in getting the keys to work, and im not sure if it is the same problem, but sometimes, the silver keys (1 through to hash) get "stuck" in. The keys 1,4,7,*,3,6,9,# are perticularly bad offenders. To rectify the problem, just look closely to ensure that none of these keys are stuck in, as it results in what seems to be the phone freezing, but all you gotta do is press the buttons to unstick them, good luck!

Never had same problem again after upgrading. So it was the firmware
