View Full Version : SMS not working when selecting recipient from SIM card

Hello everyone, I've been having a problem with my T610. My SMS fuction works fine execpt for when I select the recipient from my SIM card list. In this case I get a error message and my sms is not sent.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and what is causing it?

wot does the error say?
is the number definately correct and also are u sending it when you have signal?
just unsure wot it mite be

I'm from Italy, I save all my telephone numbers (both in SIM and in phonebook) using +39.... or whatever other country code is required. If I send an SMS using the exact same number (with the +39) typing it manually or from the phonebook the message is sent but if I select the recipient from the SIM I get an error message that says something like "SMS not sent, message saved in Unsent messages folder".
I'm sending the messages nationally, and the numbers are defenitely correct! :?: :?:

if u go 2 txt then options are all ure settings correct?

Everything is set up properly but I don't think that has anything to do with it because otherwise I wouldn't be able to send SMS messages at all. It seems there is some sort of communication error between T610 and SIM card when I'm sending SMS to recipients whos phone is in my SIM.

Just got this new Ericsson T610. I am able to send SMS to friend from USA to Greece but not able to receive incoming SMS. I have another cell Siemen S40 and have been able to send/receive SMS for a long time now (over 1 year) with the same cell service provider.
Any suggestions?
