View Full Version : Problem With MyPhoneExplorer 1.4 For K800i

Hi
MyPhoneExplorer 1.4 doesn't work properly with my k800i cell phone.
and when i want to uploading phone memory contacts & my files to it ( Connection with USB ), the error is appeared taht " The Obex Protocol could not be initialized , Obex Error : ERROR'' .
Can anyone help me ?

I Found it!
ver 1.4 doesn't work and ver 1.4.5 work properly with k800i cell phone.
find it at this link (http://www.fjsoft.at/files/MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_1.4.5.exe) ver 1.4.5

Also it will do that when you select file transfer mode and not Phone mode when you plug in your cable.
it will work fine in phone mode trust me.

im using myphoneexplorer without the use of USB cable!!!its awesome!!I just use bluetooth connection at serial port 21. and it functions just like its attached thru USB cable!!!

Now I am having some probelms too
This program still connects to my phone but it only shows new messages when I push the refresh button. It used to just pop up on the computer when i got new messages.

I am using a blue tooth dongle and it's showing on the K800i that the bluetooth connection is alwasy connected.

Anyone have any ideas to help me out?

From the MY PHONE EXPLORER settings I am connected:

COM9 Bluetooth Communications Port
Baud Rate: 256 000
OBEX packet size: 4096

Also the little MY PHONE EXPLORER logo isnt flashing green anymore like it used to. It just stays in the blue connection (It never stays in the black colour = disconnected)

I saved this into my harddrive, but when i click to install, it pops me a command windows at my Windows XP workstation. But i manage to install it onto my another Windows2000 workstation. Does it compatible with WindowsXP? If it doesn't, anyone has the XP version?
