Recently i changed my sim card in the T610. But after that all my sms in my Inbox was lost. so i changed back my sim card and the msg was not there either..
What has happened and is there a way for me to retrive my lost msgs.?

Yea, it happens, its normal, if you want to keep your messages, you should have saved to SIM card. There is no way to retrieve your lost messages. Sorry!

That's one nasty bug, I think. If this is what SE _wants_ then I can't help but saying: Bad, SE, Bad. So all people who use more than one SIM card lose all of their SMS when switching SIMs. Great, really... *grrr*. What's all that memory good for, if the phone can't handle messaging better?

Not a bug, but more of a protection precaution. SE doesnt want someone to steal your phone, switch SIM cards, and look through all your messages

Protoman is absolutely correct. It is a security/protection feature. This is so that when you remove your SIM card from the phone, let's just say because a friend wants to borrow your phone, or your phone gets stolen, once the SIM is removed, all your messages, which is private only to you, is automatically erased.
It works like the FAT (File Allocation Table) in your PCs hard disk. The FAT is stored on the SIM but the data is stored on your phone. Remove the FAT and you lose the data.
Cheers !!!
I dont think this information is correct. Because I takes out my sim card every time i charge the battery, to put it in another mobile. And I dont loose my sms..

Well, when you put ANOTHER sim into the T610 then turn the phone on and its going to be gone. Then put your original SIM back in, and turn on phone, its going to be gone. I backed up on my messages, and just did this...its gone, i can prove it, because its right in front of me right now!
ok, I see. But is there a way to copy messages from the phone to the pc? with the number etc

@Guest
You probably save your SMS in your SIM card.
We're talking about SMS that is in the phone's memory and not the ones in the SIM card memory. Please read the original post as it implies SMS on phone memory.
If you put it in those terms, sure, when you place the SIM card in any GSM phone then the messages will be there.
