ok i done that as you said and had to open a new port (20) and it worked lyk it did before but cuts me off after not long.. i dont have a firewall open or anything, its no the bluetooth range as im ryt next to it and it works with other stuff.. really want this to work.. i'v got the log from the connection proxy

myt it be becuase i have my fone name richyz800 rather than k800? but dont see why it wuld make it time out? hope you can help :)

I have a K800

Can we use a USB cable as a connection tool between the PC and the phone in order to make this thing work?

The program cannot recognise my phone, so I was wondering if I have understood correctly - is this program allowing us to use the PC internet from our phone using a USB cable?

Please reply, I realy need something like this...

ok so now iv come to try it again my pc doesnt even recognise the bluetooth dongle.. surely this has to be because i deleted the ports? and i dont have any software or any idea what i need? any help any1?

@paraglajder as far as i remember this only works with bluetooth, read through the post from the start it says within the first few pages :)

i have a w800 and everything works fine... the phone is connecting to pc, opera starts and loads the google webpage but when i try to search something it says connecting... and nothin' happens... what should i do? :)

My Phone is properly configured and is properly conected with Sony Ericsson Device Exporer, the problem is that it starts perfectly, it opens one or two webpages perfectly and then it loose the conection. I try to open webpages like google or ebay, and it says all the time "Connecting..."

I'm using a very old and crappy phone - Sony Ericsson w300i. I'm using Blue Soleil and an unbranded bluetooth dongle successfuly installed on my PC. I can successfuly create a PAN with my phone using BlueSoleil. Everywhere this is mentioned:You should see a new data account with the BT icon and the name of your PC

This is where I get stuck. I don't see a new data account with the name of my PC in my phone. I remember setting this up in my sister's w580i and in that phone, the the data account was created. But, I don't think my w300i lacks some technology because of which the new account is not created. Maybe it's a firmware thing, or I'm just doing it wrong. What do you think? Am I doing something wrong? Should I follow a different procedure?

use the opera that's in my signature its proven working ...and use EMSN for mobile msn chatting or use the ebuddy mobile website with the opera that you get from my signature :)

Manage to make it work with opera 4.2. Try bolt browser, it's faster.

yes same guide just use the cable instead of bluetooth :)

try disconnect your phone turn it off completely for a few seconds and turn it back on again and start the process again of loading the sdk etc ... make sure your using the one (opera) from my signature :)

what com port do you normally use to connect to your computer with via bluetooth?

try connecting to Myphone explorer it will tell you which comp port your are using and then use that port with the SDK :)

downloading files does not always work!

If you wish to download the game from here you must download via wap or visit the web page on your computer download to the computer and copy to the phone :)

Sorry but that's how it is this guide was really designed for surfing not downloading :)

First off thank you Kobrakaan for providing a guide to get our K750i's connected to our PCs via bluetooth using Opera Mini webrowser.

I followed your guide and everything works fine for the first few seconds or the first page loads fast, fine and great! The next page fails to load. Its like there is no link with through the BT connection anymore, it just sits there.

In fact, I face the same problem as BMWSilentKill.
