Try contacting your service provider and explaining your problem, they might be able to help with the internet settings.

As far as I understand the internet connection from my provider is not suppose to be used at all with the broadband connection (maybe I'm wrong - I'm not a tech guy). I don't have problem to connect to internet with the provider connection but is quite costly and that is why I tried to get the broadband connection to work.

Oh, now I get it, you're trying to connect your phone to the internet through your PC, aren't you? Well, I can't help you there, but why don't you use your PC to connect to the internet, and if you find something you like, simply transfer it to the phone.

I've tried everything now. i've tried it on two different pc's (one with xp home sp2 and one with 2000 sp4), i've tried it with the usb cable and bluetooth on both computers. i've tried several versions of opera, and i allways start it with the device explorer.
i've deleted all the java games/applications, and installed opera again. and it still doesn't want to connect.
when i start opera, i see some activity in the connection proxy, but not when it tries to connect. it just does the two tests, and at the end of both, it says that thte connection has failed.

can someone please help me?

i'm using version 3.0, because i can't find version 3.0. and i've deleted all the accounts, except the ones from vodafone, wich are locked.

Thank you very much! I finally got it to work!

and now the next problem: i've installed everything with the HID, and now opera starts when i push the * button. but then when i try to go to a website, it asks wich internet profile i want to use.
when i start it from the PC, it just connects, but when i use the HID, it doesn't.
can someone help me with this too?

ok, i figured out how to watch the video(converting). That's the way im doing it, the only problem is the w810 not connecting to internet, do you know the reason?

yes i am correctly connected and it shows me i am and i tried all the different baud rates that it let me (the lowest ones couldnt make a connection with me phone) and still cant install opera with the device explorer

make sure you are you starting opera mini advance from the device explorer and not direct on the mobile :)

when up and working its totally free :)

can have you installed a serial service with your bluetooth settings !?

check you can connect to your normal serial service in your bluetooth options :)


then re try using device explorer :)

if its working via your net connection then its free :)

when you go wap via your mobile you get an icon on the screen showing you are using wap when via net connection there is no wap icon :)

you can surf using opera mini via your net connection :)

works best with bluetooth then at least you are not tied to your computer with a cable :)

no unless your provider gives you free wap access then you have to pay :(

follow the guide on the first page word for word make sure you have installed the SE DEVELOPMENT KIT and the JAVA RUNTIME enviroment :)

check you can establish a serial connection to your mobile just using the bluesoleil software before attempting with the DEV KIT to make sure everythings communicating :)
