Wich should I take; Motorola V3 Razr or the Sony Ericsson Z520i ?

I am new to these forums, but I registered because I have a question.

I need a new mobile phone, and I can choose for a Motorola V3 Razr (black) and the Sony Ericsson Z520i Wich one is better? wich has more functions? more games/programs avaiable, etc etc

And can I use that super cool remote control bluetooth car from Sony Ericsson for my Z520i?

you could also get a k700i :)

which is still a damn good phone for maby even cost less money than the above with the additional 25mb more memory :)

the v3 is just plain sucky for anything great ... its an mp3/camera phone with just 5.5mb of memory and it does not even record video :(

best advice ...if you can go try them out in a store .... good stores will show you everything about the phones and then let you have a mess about with them too :D

Thx for the specs man! Well the point is, i can only choose those 2.
Let me explain:

I live in the Netherlands, and there is an action, that you can take one of those 2, for like 12$ a month, with 60 minutes free calling. So that's very cheap here... I really do think i'll go for the Z520i But i think the Razr Is nicer... and it has a better screen right? hmmm difficult... still, I think the Z520i is better, BUT is there a community? are there programs and games to download? etc etc. And what about that cool bluetooth RC Car? :D

noting also the z520 has the same screen size as the t610 series then i guess that the t610 games will work on this too :)

some would argue the motorola but knowing what a razor is like from a friend its pretty damn lame and sucky :(

and the sony bluetooth car !? ... i guess it would work after all its sony :)

well V3 is an excellent fashion phone but sucks at specs...... really..... Z520i is a really very fun phone :) such as the animated light bulbs at the sides...its a cool phone to use :) i would get the Z520i as it supports THEMES which allows you to customize your phone appearance every now and then...and there are plenty here :) e.g www.myz520.lasyk.net

not being prejudice here...but if you compare V3 to K700 i would say if you are looking for a low specs but good looking phone then by all means V3 but if its V3 vs Z520i, its the Z520i which is what you would wanna get :)

I really think you should go for the V3. Both have the same camera but the V3 has a bigger screen, then the Z520 has a bigger internal memory...
But think about it. Are you going to put in loads and loads of pictures? Better viewed on the V3 screen. But if you need alot more than 5 MB of storage obviously go for the Z520.
As for the car, it will work with the Z520, but I suggest you buy an old Ericsson or old Sony Ericsson - you can't charge it with the Z520 ;)

okays lets put it to the fashion sense..in my opinion both are good fashion statement phones...

Z520 shows a more fun character with its custom light bulbs, themes, slip oncover and bright buttons and colours
V3 depics serious fashion statement...with its super sleek thiness, and the unorthodox button arrangement, its wide screen, with the screen fills the entire top part of the clam shell, and the material used is FAR superior then Z520 (the metallic aircraft parts) ...

so if you are looking for a fashion phone, its up to you which kind of character you want...if you are not looking for a fashion phone, perhaps a normal average phone like say K700 .....

then Z520 makes a good one....surprisingly i find it small on the hands but only a little thick and super thick when compared veside V3 LOL ..... but seriously, as you mentioned that you prefer having games pictures, as Phoenix mentioned....by all means Z520i... anyway whichever purchase you make for that price, its a GOOD BUY!!!

for the charging of the BT remote car, yes it charges from the phone adapter, i am not sure if it can charge form the 3 pin socket........best solution is for you to ask SE via Email :) anyway here is a quick SEARCH from SE

But one question can change my opinion:

Wich is better in: 1 Standby time 2 sound quality (calling) and 3. pressing buttons :D

Standby Time= Almost all : SE : phones is better than Motorola on this, (2) Sound Quality=Need to test them side by side:( (3) Of course, the Z520i is better on buttons:D

The Z520 uses the FastPort communicator - therefore it isn't compatible for charging ;)

The Z520 uses the same type of screen in colours (262k) as the V3, but I think the Z520 would be a better buy because of it's smaller screen.
Sound quality as said by Iman needs to be tested, I would suggest getting the Z520 anyway because one music filoe will eat up alot of your memory if you chose a V3 ;)
Buttons can differ - it is a personal choice.
