Here's how you do it if your restrict calls options is controlled by your network. Do the opposite - go through the Accept Calls Option instead.
Step-by-Step Guide
1) First, create a new contact, say, contact X on your phonebook. In this contact, just place an arbitrary number in any list (home, mobile, fax, or others). Make sure that the number you choose is a phone number that is impossible to exist. Maybe, you can just place number 7 under the home number. Save the contact. Now you have a contact in your phonebook named X with a home number of 7.
2) Go to Calls -> Manage calls -> Accept calls -> Accept options -> choose "Only from list"
3) After choosing "Accept from list", this will then bring you back to the "Accept calls" menu. Choose Accepted list -> New -> Phonebook -> then find your contact X. Choose contact X.
Congratulations, you're done.
You should see now on the main screen of your phone right beside the GPRS and Signal strength indicators a new RED indicator of a phone handset with an arrow above the handset icon. This means that you have successfully programmed your phone to accept calls only from your accepted list.
Now, everytime someone calls you, your phone will automatically REJECT the call without even ringing. What your caller will hear on his/her phone will be just a short ring (not even 1 complete ring) then a sudden busy tone. Yes, they will notice that their call is constantly rejected but at least, the way it is rejected is consistent (just short of 1 ring and then a busy tone). You can always make an excuse that something's wrong with your phone, right ?
The advantage to this, however, is that on your phone, you will see an indicator of missed calls and you will know exactly who was trying to call you. If you want to talk to them, you can always just call them back, right ?
I use this function to screen calls. In my accept list, I created groups and programmed each group with people that I decide to accept calls from only.
Hope this helps. Cheers !!!

Hi...
Thanks for the tip.
What if I need to only restrict / bar calls from just one particular individual? So instead of adding each and every number on my "Accept List" and I just maintain a "Reject List"?
Or is there another way around this?
