Hi

well at the moment there isnt a proggy out on the marked to do such thing, if they did then i dont even know if it would work due to the distance that u would have to stand infront of the tv (might aswell push the buttons on the telly), ne 1 else have a opinion on this matter? :?

How would you use a bluetooth adapter to control your TV ? i mean where would you plug the bluetooth dongle ? The pc obviously has a USB port for the bluetooth to go into .. ! Help people .. i have seen the thing work in nokia 3650 and 7650 .. i wonder why anyone hasnt made one yet for T610

it will never come on T610, 3650/7650 has its own operating system (symbian). Basically the T610 is too primative to be able to have a TV remote program, 3650/7650/p800 are classified as "smartphones". If you are really desperate (or have simply lost your remote control) buy a P800 althou i think a replacement remote will be much cheaper :D :D

must agree
i cannot understand why people want to download the sis version of this program anyway
i used it on my old 3650 and its pants

the range of the infa red on mobile devices is much too restricted to make it a real feasable option in my opinion

Why don't you use the remote which came with the telly? It's the most sensible thing to do.

Hehehe :)
But when you can control all electronic devices which has infrared in all in one remote controller, your cellular phone, isn't it cooler and much smoother than using a special remote control for every device???

I prefer using the designated remote controls of any electronic gadget. It's easier to manage that way. Moreover, the functionality of a specialized remote control may be far superior than what can be crammed into the T610 (I'm talking about range, tv menus, non-standard functionality, etc.). It's possible that the best you can do with a remote control-enabled T610 is to point it directly at the tv's port just to change channels. :D The T610 is a mobile phone, not a remote control. :D

You can actually. Check your local Argos/Index catalogue for All in One remotes.
