Z1010 and UMTS

Hi there!!!...I need your help!!!Can you tell me if is possible to stop the Umts function in the Z1010?...I have big problems with my battery..after 24 hours from the charger...it's down!!:D I've already bought three batteries but it's always the same thing!!!..I don't know if is a problem of the telephone or it's the battery!! I'd like to try to exclude the Umts connection to see if using only the gprs/gsm my battery could last much more!!!thank you in advance for your help...ciao ciao Andrea :)

Go Settings --> Connectivity --> Mobile Networks and then search for your operator without 3G ;)

Thank you Phoneixburn!!..I've already made it,but after a few while the telephone automatically goes another time on the 3g line.
Is there another way?

No there isn't unfortunately :(
You can try swapping with a friend that doesn't have a 3G SIM card for a day and charge it as much as you can and then use it for awhile and see if it makes any difference?

Go to your operator service and ask them to disable 3G on your SIM card

Like I said earlier why don't you get someone that doesn't have 3G on their SIM card to try it out?
