do u guys find tat some mp3 ringtones are prefect they start playing at the chorus/best part
when i set a normal mp3 song in my phone as ringtones it can be used but it starts playing at the begining:mad: ....i want to select where to start for example chrous
can it be done using any cropping program for mp3?
i really hope this will work out....thanks in advance

yeah go here it is freeware and does the job i use this to make my ringtones from my mp3 s

try it out already works great but i got a tiny problems if i saved the cropped song as mp3 it works fine but when i saved it as wav my phone says cannot play this song though i played wav files before n no problems
but i am gald the mp3 works......anyway

try this m8 it converts mp3 to wav if u prefer wav to mp3 that is anyway give it a go let me know what happens have not tried it yet

No, this is not the problem, the problem is that you can't use ordinary wav in the S700.
Search on this forum, I have earlier posted the settings...
(I think under True tone)
But a question! Why using wav in the S700???:D

my s700i plays wavs but i dont use them any more cos mp3 is much more friendly i.e space efficient.

If you have the MP3 file on your pc. You can play and record the peace you need using sound recorder that is already installed in Windows and then convert back the new sound peace into MP3.

actually the wav files are meant for my gf she's using nokia 6600...i wanted to make her some .wav songs:p (6600 r so good tat it cant play mp3)

Some time age Iīve posted here a packege of wav tones, but it seem they arenīt here at the moment :(

Hi,
I use Sony soundforge, the newest is not freeware (7 or 8) but the older versions are, you can cut your best bits, chorus, start, middle and end, and once you find your way around the interface you can join a few together or parts, speed up, slow down or even reverse......... then use about 25 seconds for your own fave ringtone (mp3) :)

wavs but i had some wavs files sent over from my frens hp nokia to my s700i but i cant play it nor use it as ringtone..

heres a nice guide to make ur own mp3 ringtones. its pretty easy to use and the program is free.
