View Full Version : watch videos in fullscreen mode

I don't own a K750i yet, but I will buy it soon.
Now I have a K700i. I downloaded from the PC videoclips.
On K700i it was not possible to watch them in fullscreen. Is this possible with the K750i?

yup, and if you have enough space you can stick full movies on your mem stick!

Yeah, the video playing is pretty good actually, but it still isn't awesome. Sony needs to stop doing half ass attempts and just write a full video player that can fastforward and rewind..

i just use the joystick in either direction whilst watchin a film, u can do the same wit mp3s

I don't know what the deal is, it doesn't work for me.

when viewing an mp3 or movie...long press left/right joystick...and wait until >> or << icon appears....

youll be able to fastforward and rewind while watching..however,,,you cant do this while youre using fullscreen...i think.

this only works when you're viewing or listening by media player :D

Hurray. Doesn't seem to work fullscreen though.. :(

How do you do this? Can you just drag a movie file over? Or does it have to be a certain format? :(

you have to compress or rather convert the normal avi. movie .to 3gp or mpeg4 format .....for the conversion , you will need to know the necessary pixels , frames ,bi rate etc for a smooth experience in watching the movie on your phone :)

Any ideas where can i download the software to convert my avi files to mpeg4 format?? Does nokia fones support mpeg4 too?? Cos i'd love to share my clips to my frens who most of them prefers nokia to SE.

it will be better to use 3GP .......however even with the convertor, perhaps someone can tell us the various codes such as the bi rate ,frames etc ? because without that it is not possible for the movie to be played properly .....

also if you convert a movie to be watched fullscreen on K750i , that is 176x220 pixels , i am not sure if it can be viewed on lets say a nokia 7610 ,for a nokia 7610 screen is only 176x208 pixels thus the movie might be ''Out of range'' for the N7610 .........

if you want to create movies for nokia symbian series60 phones which uses RealPlayer ..there are plenty of movie convertors for Nokia symbian 60 phones and the format will be .RM (usually) for Nokia series 60 phones

yaa it works in fullscreen and the media player of the firmware is quite good enough................

use PSP Video 9 for convertion of movies if u have enough space like 1gb
