Problem with Memory Stick Pro Duo

Decided to upgrade the standard 64mb card to a 1gb card.

When i put in the new card and use the camera it says "memory stick not found"

Thought, maybe i have to format it first. Formatted it and still the same problem.

Can anyone help?

hi .... do u mean the k750i or k700i....if this is the phone look i was thinking the same thing

hers the problim (Memory Stick Pro Duo) ok so the phone has

on the cover of the card slot (Memory Stick Duo ) only no (pro) i olso wanted to

upgrade but the delar tolde me to be carful as it is non sony is very bad in these

things the largest ms duo is 125mb i no it suks but i think both cards have the same

size ..........look im not shure becuse this is my first sony.E mobile mabe the card

has a problim if u see the olde card (64mb) wen u use the cable with the pc and

acsess the card ull find some standerd files i dont no wat they do but try copining

them into the new card...........this is all a i kan tell u but still not shure

turns out what i was having trouble with is very simple.
you cannot access the memory stick when the phone is connected via usb cable to a PC.

you can use the memory Stick [MS] Pro Duo on the K750i in which the K750i expandable memory can go up to 2GB(not 1GB :)) The K750i package comes with a 64MB MS Duo , thus one can say that the K750i supports both MS Pro Duo and MS Duo BUT NOT MS Pro :)

in summary ,
K750i ;
max expandable memory via MS is 2GB
supports MS Pro Duo & MS Duo :)

I just gut the news about the price from my
Sister also so I bout the 1G.B card and I found it in
Amazon.com with a price of 99.99 it was 104.99
Amazon.com now has become cheaper than other sites
But look out they have a system that changes the prices
At day one I sound it with 104.99 then after searching other sites
And returned the next day it became 99.99 the company was sandisk

Sandisk manufacture the memory stick on Sony's behalf so there is no benefit in paying extra for a Sony branded card. The sandisk cards also come with a convertor so that you can use the card in a standard memory stick slot on other products.
