how can I play movies

I don't know exactly how toplay movies from my comp on my phone.

It played mpeg4 or soemthing like that?

it doesnt play video mp3\s, mp4's, mpegs etc


so how can I chance the files so it will play on my phone?

but when I put it on my phone, you only hear the sound!!!

I had the same problem at first (sound no video)

What you have to do is to change the screen size of the .mp4 file to 176x144 using nero re-encode (that is the k750 screen size for movies)

That is all i did and now i can play .mp4 files with no problems

well ni I am using intoogp3... and now the quality sucks and you can chance quality option to the same but then my phone almost freezes cause it uses so much memory...

can anyone give me the standards that I have to use in imtoogp3

piedie: you have to either buy or download nero re-code to be able to reduce the screen size for movies in mpeg4 format (there are other programs out there that will do it but this was the first one that i tried and it worked perfectly)

It is not an option in nero, it is a completly different program that uses the nero engine to run and you also have to have the dvd plug in for nero also for it to work correctly

if you are a member of any torrent forums you should find this program fairly easilly, i scouted several forums and this seemed to be the program that most people were using, it takes a bit of getting used to but once you get it right it becomes so easy to use.

p.s. nero recode comes as part of nero digital pack, once you have this and have installed it p.m. me and i will run you through the settings that i use

Is it possible to view the movies in fullscreen instead of only 176x144 in any way? I compressed my movie to 3gp 320x240. It's just a waste of memory if the phone only can play 176x144 to have larger movies in the phone.

ermm....thats QVGA screen size(S700i) and K750i screen pixels is 176x220 , so yeah 240x320 will be ''out of range'' :(

Okey, but if I had a movie in 176x220 would I be able to play it in fullscreen then? Or is it shown on only 144x176 pixles too?

i have yet to try that out as i dont know the correct conversion playback rate/frames/sound etc. ........:( to convert the movie

It is possible to play movies full screen, but you have to crop the movie slightly (obviously the closer the original movie is to 176x220 the more of the picture is shown on the phone)

Use this quide to covert using nero recode (although this is for the k700 it works perfectly for the k750 as i have encoded several films now and they have all played full screen with very good quality and sound in sync) : clp ico

play the movie on your k750i...choose MORE...select FULL SCREEN MODE...

This will play the movie in full screen mode but will leave borders top and bottom of the movie (ie incorrect aspect ratio).

To get TRUE fullscreen mode you have to crop the movie to the correct aspect ratio of the phone (1.21) as described in the guide that i posted earlier.

for s700i use pvauthor version 3.0 (this dosnt work on later versions or any other converter)set 176*144 size.its not full screen but its much bigger than what we get from anythin else.
now for the weird part
the video plays on s700i at 240*196 but info on the cell says that the size is 320*240even though you set the codec at176*144.in "view mode" it says the file is corrupt.if i play this on my computer the video size is 2600*2478.

Then for D/K750i choose the 2nd (QCIF...)!!!

Isn't DivX in .avi format? Since this converter converts .avi to .3gp, I would assume so.

Anyway, this program doesn't work. Anyone have a FULL version? I'm trying to convert some movies and it's not working. :(
