excatly i barly make phone calls with my t610 just play music and use amr files to listen to music through my headset cause it sounds really good with it i use mobile amr converter converts mp3 and wave and opposite way

k750 is a great upgrade from my k700, they fixed all the problems and there is very minimal lag

Had the k750i two days, love it, very quick on the O.S. makes this phone so very easy to use. Loads of buried treasures within the features, so many ways to do the same things. Its like a proper mini operating system, almost osx style. To me it seems its had influence on use from a computer manufacturer rather than a telecoms company. Never wrote in forums regarding a phone before, but I have to say this one is very addictive, making you want to play with it, making stuff to send to your friends, they know what they are doing when they make these things, this will make abit more dollar for the phone companies supporting the contracts. I reakon this is the playstation of phones. Im yet to try a smartphone, would like to see how the o.s. compares. Same as the console battle, M$ vs PS.

the k750 will have his 15 minutes of fame till the w800i comes out and it will smash the k750 of the throne like a new guy at a pub getting really really drunk and killing the hardest man out there. the k750 will hold up a good fight and may be the most popular. but it will lack in performance. the k750 is being released as a tester and then they will release the w800i with no faults and all the people who bougth k750s will want a w800i there for making more money!

Nah.. I don't know.. I think w800i will be equal to the k750i. They're probably equal in performance but the w800i is much more expensive.(or will be)

It's the design that has got me with the W800.
The W800 is only a little bit better than the K750, so the K750 won't necessarily lose since for example business people will only need the 64 MB card, not the 512 MB. I can't imagine a grown man holding a playfully colourful W800 only the business like design of K750, but prove me wrong by all means ;)

W800i well, the specs are alike on the 2 phones, funktionality is switched between "activety button" and "play/pause button" (play button on the front of t W800i it is a WALKMAN_PHONE), i am not abel to see other drifferences than the Design.
AND what type/kind of people/humanbeings like silver/orange phones

I like my new D750i a lot, especially because the branding isn't as impactful as I thought before. There's a "T-Mobile" logo at the bottom and the shortcut button in the middle of the phone was replaced with a direct link into t-zones. Two icons in the main menu, linking to WAP sites are there besides links in the File Manager.

No other limitations. I can play every MP3 or MIDI which is supported by the phone (Some aren't, unfortunately), use them as ringtone, I can install Java Applications and use them and so on. The whole phone is well processed and the blue color isn't as strong as on the images from T-Mobile. I think, the keyboard should have a pressure point, but I can live without that - hopefully, the keyboard is better than the one from the T630s I got (http://myforum.lasyk.net/showthread.php?t=16935)...
Because I'm used to the T630, but skipped the K700i, the menu structure is very obvious to me and writing SMS messages is as fast as before!

I really dislike the headset. The cable on the right earpiece is way too short, the right one way too long. This SE-logo annoys me as well, besides that they don't fit well in my ears. The sound isn't as good as I would have assumes from products manufactures by Sony(Ericsson). I hope there will be alternative earpieces or an adapter available soon.

Camera's quality is nice for a cell phone, but nothing too special. The autofocus works very well though.

The W800i is just a K750i with a 512 mb Memory Stick Duo (which you can always buy separately), shortcut button to the music player (which you can do without), and an orange scheme (which doesn't appeal to most people's tastes).

You must not be in the USA, t-mobile doesn't do sony ericsson phones in the US.

Right, I'm not from the US, I'm from T-Mobile's native country, Germany.
The camera has got a nice autofocus, and it's quite well for a camera in a mobile phone.

By the way, I think the W800 will get other advantages than the ones mentioned here. For example, the D750i lacks of a headset which guarantees good sound. The MP3 player hasn't got so much abilities, and I assume it will be greatly extended.

lol, even if the w800 becomes cheaper than the k750i i would definitely buy the k750i. The design for the k750i is perfect, and there is not much difference between the two phones. The k750i is a great looking phone with great features and i personally think that it is better than the w800 because of its look. I don't really like the w800 design, 1. because it doesnt have the camera shutter, 2. because i don't like the colour and 3. i don't like the keypad, i would say the k750i is the perfect phone for me.

Apparently it actually does have a shutter - there is a photo somewhere on this site that shows it - I'll link to it if I find it. It opens/closes with the little slider beside it.

But can't you just upgrade the software for the k750i to the w800? Someone on eBay was offering the service for about $25.00. : dnt know

My K750i is great. I love the smooth animations in the menu. I love the macro function in the camera menu, yes i love the Sony Cybershot UI.

I do have a small issue - yes, after thinking about just what could be less-than-ideal on this phone, I have 1..! My issue is to do with the unbranded K750: both the joystick as well as the top-right key, when pressed, give you the main menu. OK, well fine, but why not have the joystick or top-right key programmable, or at least one of them, so that I can get more utility out of them? 2 buttons referring to the same thing is overkill.

Possible fix in future f/w, SE chaps? Thanks for noting anyways! :)

K750 - I had some camera pix in a folder - started viewing them, switched to horizontal, then noticed the 'zoom' function - figured out it was '3' to zoom-in, and '1' to zoom back out ... then move-around with your joystick ...

Zoom-zoom (up to 32x) ... ;)

i like my W800i so much, esp the walkman & camera features. But, it will be better if it has a OS and stereo speakers like motorola e680's. it's a rather expensive phone I think. i sold my moto e680 and have to + Rp. 1.000.000,- for this SE W800i. Over all....I still like this "oranye" beautiful phone : SE : ;)

i have the E680 and K750i with me atm . all i can say is that one superioir spec that beats the E680 for most SMS addicts --> the keypad ! no doubt E680 has better speakers and screen but W800i camera sure rocks ! what will be good is wifi + E680 + keypad + symbian + stero speakers and hopefully in 5years time integrated sub-woofer :p :p

After being a hardened Nokia user for many years i changed to Se K750i after i had two 6230i's go wrong.

Its taken some getting used to but i love it...The camera is fantastic...The only bad thing is the very short time before the auto keylock comes on (which u cant change the time), and the calender is not as good as nokia...You cant put birhtdays in unless they are just standard memos.....everything else though is great.

Oh and SE actually supply the data cables with the phones which is brill
