Hi, this is my first post on this forum. I've been a regular visitor to it for a while. Here is my problem.
I have an SE S700i on vodafone. Through this forum I learnt of the .DRM packer available from the Sony Ericsson support site to get around the mp3 ringtone problem.
The programme was working fine up until about a month ago.
for some reason some of the .drm files *Not all* have become unusable (locked) on the phone. I noticed this didn't happen straight away with all of the affected files, almost like a date specific period when they stopped working.
All new mp3s which I have .drm encoded and loaded to my phone are also locked.
I don't think I've done anything different as regard using the .drm packer programme.
The only thing I can think of is that my phone had to go back to VF in February to have newer software installed because of an sms problem common on all early S700i's. Does anyone know if they might have added somthing which causes problems for the .drm encoded files? The locked files were working when I got the phone back.
