I've now read it..
Must comment that if you see on one side, it has a play/pause button very much like W800..I think only main difference on the cover is the hold button which is on all mp3 devices and I don't think W800 has a shutter to cover the camera when not in use.
And must comment: It can take 4 GB?? That is the size of my hard drive on my computer : omg : : omg :

I dunno what size screen it really has!
K7 has 176x220 right? It is suppose to be alot bigger then x6xx, but I compared today with a K7 and it look basically the same!

It's no bigger though..so how can it be 176x220???

the pixel resolution of x6xx phones is 128X160 pixels

Yes I know, but I thought that the screen would have to be bigger to fit in more pixels??

well i am not sure if the K700i screen size [length x height] is larger than x6xx phones ...but if it is not than it is also possible for the screen to have more pixels .......just like Plasma Televisions ....with the same 42'' size there are pixels quality ranging from 852X480 to 38**X1024 [cant remember the exact number :p]

Well it seems the K700 and K750 have same sized screens as x6xx phones, but it means that they will have better quality in pictures! :)

I think it's called HD which stands for high defination.. It means better than DVD clarity. So this is basically nothing but more pixels in a smaller space. ;)

well you can be sure that the picture quality on the K750i will definitely be better than the K700i as K750i has a 262K colour screen ..degree of colour accuracy sharpens for the K750i especially the colours red and green :)

What i would say is the quality of the clarity is going to be really awesome. just wait and watch. HD - High Defination isin't a simple term. The quality is more or less like the S700i display! ;)

definitely S700i has a better display !

S700i --> 240x320 pixels a.k.a QVGA
K750i --> 176x220 pixels

both have 262K colour depth .......Thus S700i screen is much better than K750i which also mean that the opening price of K750i might not be as expensive as we think :)

Check another post, I think the quality on S7 is better than K750..but K750 has more megapixels ;)

yes the LCD on the S700i is better, however, the photo quality on the K750 is much better, so if the picture was transferred onto the computer, the K750 will look a great deal nicer.

well if you were to go to GSM arena website , they have a review of the cameras for the following phones .....S700i , K750i and N6630 .....lots of pictures are posted for comparison and like the aurthor of that articpe said ....the pictures when sent to the PC , in some cases K750i is better whereas in other cases S700i is better ......but it is rated and overall K750i is better :) :)

is this a symbin phone...and what exactly is "symbian" if someone can kindly explain it to me? I know this much that its got something to do with files with extensions .sis but thats about all.

Apps are written for it just like they are for a full-blown OS! Phones that use Symbian, Windows CE, and others are, to an extent, miniature computers.

When compared to "normal" mobiles, the differences would be akin to comparing a Games Console to a PC! The Console having embedded software with the manufacturer deciding the contents! The PC having a customisable interface & apps supplied by third party programmers.

well though the K750i has a better screen resolution than N7610 , the K750i screen length and height is not larger than the 7610 as some applications from Symbian Series 60 requires larger font in which a larger screen is required to display them and as for the K750i the screen IMO isnt large enough to display them though the screen have more pixels ,and the K750i isn't symbian :( only the SE Pxxx series of phones uses Symbian UIQ OS

well enough of these little phones man..im gona get a p910 or whatever good out there...though the k750i looks great but i dont wana have another dissapointment with missing features and stuff. I just hope it satisfies me lol

oh no the p910 dosent have radio....but i think there is a prog out there with which u can install the radio on it ya?

hey ppl...i know this is a lil off the topic but can u help me with ur opinions on pickin a phone?
My choices are:
p910
or
k750i

the k750i looks awesome and has awesome features but its not symbian as far as i know.

thats where th 910 comes in cos it is symbian..but then again its big and bulky and dosent look as cool as the k750i...

what am i to doooo?!

please post some suggestions on either phone to help me make up my mind..thanks

well the P910i or K750i ?

Personally , for me i will choose the P910i , why ? because i rather have a ''working'' phone , really the conversion of using buttons to using a stylus and QWERTY keyboard to use the phone is something great !

ok so now , which should you go for ?

well it still ultimately depends on what you want , if you need a more ''fun'' and ''fashion'' phone , than K750i is your desired choice , if you need a serious and working phone full of applications , than you choice should be the P910i

Think it over carefully ,remember that the P910i has a normal VGA camera whereas the K750i has a 2mega-pixel camera , but than again the P910i has a larger screen and also a processor and RAM whereas the K750i doesnt have it ,
Basically it is like asking this question --> the Apple ishuffle 1GB or the Apple ipod mini 6GB ?

well the ishuffle is more stylish but yet its functions arent good , no LCD screen , small memory compared to ipod mini , whereas the ipod mini functions are good ! but it doesnt look as stylish as the ishuffle , see the point now ? try to relate it by subsitute the ishuffle with the K750i and the ipod mini with the P910i .:)

i just want a phone which i can keep for a long time without freting over "oh no it dosent have this or that" lol

i think ill just wait till the end of the year when the new "high end" sony ericsson phone come out...hopefully they will have a symbian os phone in there somewhere too.....

i cant understand why SE wont make symbian phones...other companies like sendo, motorola, nokia are doing it and their screens arent even that big....

ah well ive decided ill buy the k750i for now (due to the change in connectors...)

plus i dont really need a PDA so the p910 will just be a waste ....

i guess we all get carried away sometimes :|

I think SE should MOST definately think about introducing the following features into their phones:

- Easily changable customized phone covers (why ? well cos at my work place majority ppl use Nokia cos they like the idea that they can customize it anytime they want to suit their style)

- Symbian OS in phones

- Customizability in usage of SMS tones and able to delete predefined items

- upgradable memory with all type of common file support

- Macromedia Flash support

I´ve also thought if I should buy S700i or P915i and the result??
I bought S700i even it doesnt have Symbian and after 4 months intensive using I´m really pleased with it!!

plus i dont like the names
samsung
nokia
motorola

plus their "image" is really terrible..dont like their logos or stuff either

SE brings together style and technology very nicely so i like it

K750/W800 do have customizable SMS tones - I believe we will see these more into the future ;)
