View Full Version : Standard Ring Tones "Not Activated" HELP!

Good evening People,

I recently purchased 2 x s700i phones. One for my wife and myself. But the standard mp3 ring tones that came on my wifes phone eg Home box, work and play. BUT on my phone they have a locked key and when prompte to use they reply "not activated would you like to activate". On saying yes , the reply says "address incorrect - please reenter address".

Now I have since converted my own ring tones and everything worked great for my new converted tones. I thought i could just transfer the file from my wifes phone to my , but to no avail.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THIS HAS HAPPENED AND HOW TO ACTIVATE THE STANDARD MP3 RINGTONES?

PS it is a branded Vodafone Aus phone.

Looks like your phone needs a reset, or contact Voda.
I haven't done the reset yet, but it's possible you'll lose some standard ringtones, themes and stuff, but they're all downloadable on SE web and wap site, although for a branded S700i I don't know.

Yep, contact Vodafone first.

I dont know how it is on s700 but vodafone have did it on k700i.

But try to do one hard reset and did it not work then so can u contact your SE service center :)

PS Vodafone sucks

Will look into a hard reset. Little worried this may go alittle : omg : . I have contacted SE via their web site - see if we get a responce.

(IN Sweden we have a lot of NICE dentist)

So nice that you bought one for your wife to, but if herīs is working fine cant you swith them? :p

Dont be afraid to make a hard reset, this can only make things better.
