Blooover bluetooth hacking

Hey I found a new program on the internet called blooover. It doesn't work on my T610 I don't know why. It should work.

You can pair your phone with another phone without permission.

rename the .zip file to .jar you understand why off course.
It also seems to work on other brands. And some T610 maybe firmware depending.

that is than a bloody shame. Friend of my tried it with his P900 he can use it, but when he tries it on a K700i it doesn't work maybe you can only hack older bluetooth phones

wait is this software only for symbian enabled phones ? as it states in the site : ''Nokia 6600, Nokia 7610, Sony Ericsson P900, Siemens S65'' <-- the phones competable with this software, and these phones uses symbian OS

I read that people used it on the nokia 6230 and 6260, I also read that it works on some T610, so i'am thinking it's depending on the firmware.

P.S. I'am used to post on a very actief forum, gti club. So sorry if I'am in patient.

6230 uses symbian series40 and 6260 uses symbian series60 so both phones are using symbianOS

My friend has this on his PDA he can read my text messages and everything its crazy i never leave my bluetooth on anymore!

Im guesing you know this already but ive put it on my p910i and it works no problems i havent have chance to use it on any1 though. does any1 know if it needs the other persons bt turned on? cos i heard the original bluesnarf program could turn it on remotely?

There is no program that can turn on your bluetooth because the program can't see your phone, unless bluetooth is on.

So yes the other person got to have his bt on. And no the program can't turn bt on, on another phone.

well ive heard the original bluesnarf program for linux has the ability to turn sum1s bluetooth on so it can get in. Dont ask me how it does it but i know it can.

You probaly need to put bt on first and then start the program.

i tried using nokia pc suit application installer.. but it seems my bluetooth cant create a serial port with this mobile phone.. i also tried with infrared... but the application installer cant detect this mobile phone...

Do not use nokia pc suit, I couldnt even pair my : SE : p910i : SE : with an original sonyericsson software I think it is too difficult. Use an original software that comes with your BT. Then you can pair it very easy. Sending items is really delicious, just right click on the item, then send---->via BT----->6230!!! Dont forget to accept it in your fone otherwise, connection fails in a minute. Ezy!!! Hope you can get it, coz am not as good in english as english spoken guys. :eek: : SE :

i get what u mean.. if i use that procedure..
the file can be send to the mobile phone.. but the mobile phone itself dont recognise the file type.. it says unsupported file format. so i need a pc suit to install the bloover.. anyway.. thankz for helping..

Yeah it must be in renaming that zip file to jar. Your fone must recognize everything you send if knows the extension. I am saying dont use pc suite, waste of time!!! (My opinion)

Man thats quite easy, I use Total commander, but you should be able to find lots of commanders for WINdows, online. Then you find the file you want to rename at your commander and you just press F6 while you are on the file. Then you have to manually change the extension from bloover.zip ----> bloover .jar

Doesn't work on Sony Ericsson P900...Tested. (Before I got my P905 :D)
But for some reason it doesn't also work for my P905... :mad:

Yeah everybody needs to buy a symbian phone :S But I just bought a laptop. Very expensive little things but. I'am also looking for the Ipaq 6340 very nice phone.
Difficult choices in live. Maybe need to buy two things.

how about going for the P910i ? its symbian too but does not support Wi-Fi :( perhaps its successor being released a few months from now might support Wi-Fi :)

You mean the Sony Ericsson P1000? You have to still wait a while for that to be anounced. I reckon 4Q of 2005. The P910i needs to be on the shelves for a bit longer if they are gonna make money...

Yeah the P910i is a nice phone, but indeed it misses wifi and I have since this week a wireless network for my notebook, so I want a phone that supports wifi, and also want to use tomtom navigator for in my car. Their are also very nice programs available for the ipaq 6340 so it's a good combination of a pda and phone.
The thing with the P1000 is that when it get's available it wil be very expensive to buy the P1000. We will see what the future brings, maybe we have to go oldschool to call safely, back to the nokia 3210 hahahah :D

if its Wi-Fi capabilities that you really want you can go for O2 Xda IIs , but one disadvantage : it uses Microsoft Pocket PC <-- Laggy :(

I have R4C and evertime i try sending the file it says, invalid application :S
(thats after i rename the .zip to .jar) does this only work with a certain version of fimeware or what :S
Can the people who got it to work let us know which firmware they are using?
