View Full Version : ericsson mobile phone monitor won't install

Hi,

I tried to install the "mobile phone monitor" from ericsson
(newest version from ericsson hp). The installer pops up,
copies a bunch of files to
"c:\programme\ericsson\mobile phone monitor"
(yes, german xp) and silently closes the installation window,
no programs left running in background.
The last line in the "anubisinstall.log" says:
"Could not Self-Register: C:\Programme\Ericsson\Mobile Phone Monitor\ECSCM07Q.dll"

Anyone got the same problem or hints?

Btw., I am able to synchronize my phone with Outlook using
XTNDConnect and can copy files from and to my phone.

Ah, and yes, I've googled for it, but didn't find a solution.

If you are able to synchronize your phone and all, then its working properly.

Yes, but the sendfile and PcControl software from christersson.org
require a running mobile phone monitor software.

And it would be nice if I could install the software anyway ;)

try re-formatting...LOL, can't help you here, just too many computer problems that could maybe cause this problem you have

ever thought about looking into the systemsteuerung there you will find something like phone monitor option.. there you can also configure if the symbol should be visible at the systray....
