MP3 ringtones on vodafone

Found this tip on another forum - thought I'd share it.

If you want to play your own MP3s as ringtones, you need to add protection content. You can do this by downloading the "Sony Ericsson DRM Packager Tool" available from http://developer.sonyericsson.com. You'll need to register at first.

How do you use that program and how do u connect ur fone to it?

Just install it on your PC, load your mp3s into it, and add the protection content. Once the protection content has been added, you'll have a .dm file.

Upload this file to your phone as you would any mp3 file.
